French are more and more consuming online: “an increase of 21% on the previous year” according to ComScore:

It’s interesting to see that fashion & clothing stores are the most visited websites. “Ventes Flash” are an incredible “push” for online sales, as it directly talks to the wallets.

Funny enough, it’s through very direct marketing approach (give me your email, I’ll send you coupons) that the online shopping becomes social.
